Whether movement to you means playing weekend golf, gardening, playing with your children or participating in fitness activities that alter your body composition. Training Program Questions

What is Applied Functional Science?

A. Founded by world renowned physical therapist Gary Gray and Dr. David Tiberio ; AFS is the convergence of physical, biological and behavioral sciences that integrates unifying principles to each individuals need.  This process enables the practitioner to create individualized techniques (as opposed to “canned” protocols).  Each person is different and therefore treated differently…the principles are the same; however the techniques change per person.

Do all clients receive an assessment?

A. YES.  To fully understand ones problem a comprehensive assessment is a must!   To not assess and just apply movement conditioning on a problematic area is analogous to placing a band-aid on a broken bone.  Often the area of discomfort is the RESULT of - not the cause of the problem.

What is the difference between 1on1 sessions and group sessions?

A. The difference is in the degree of individualization that takes place within the session. Group training looks at general global concepts in order to increase performance and function of the clients.  1on1 sessions are 100% custom to the person, tasks, and goals.

How large are group classes?

A. No larger then 10 participants in either team training sessions or general health group training.

What should I wear to initial assessment and following sessions?

A. Comfortable fitting clothes that allow you to move without restriction and sneakers.

How long do studio programs last?

A. That is determined by you and your DHF coach. Programs last in four week intervals with evaluations and re-assessments built within. Utilizing that information allows both you and the coach to determine the best course of action.

Payment Questions

What form of payment do you accept?

A. Cash, Check, All Major Credit Cards. Payments can be made at the studio or online.

When is the payment due?

A. At the initial appointment, payment is due in full for length of program choice.

Do I need to be a client of the studio to enroll in an online program?

A. No

Do I have to fill out a registration form prior to program start?

A. Yes, you can submit the form by clicking here: Registration Form

What is the return policy?

A. There are no refunds given after enrollment of program has been initiated.

What if I miss a session?

A. DHF requires a 24 hour notice of cancellation for the session to be made up either 1on1 or in group training. Client forfeits session with no shows or less then 24 hours of notice.

Is their a family discount?

A. Yes, One individual of the family pays full price (highest priced program) and the rest of the family receives a 25% discount.
